Gentlemen...

Good evening, Gentlemen!

The "Gentlemen of Etiquette" is a select group of gamers who have a single purpose in mind: create the return of fun, fair and friendly online gaming. We aim to convert the masses of "u noob / wtf was that? / god you suck" gamers into modest, first-class players.

That was mainly fluff to keep up with our theme. Generally, the 3-F's - fun, fair and friendly - definitely apply. We just want everyone to have fun and be respectable while they do so.

Anyone can become a G.o.E., though be warned - if you join, please try to be friendly enough to other players. We don't need any hatred here. Playful jabbing is always acceptable, but ageism or playerism - prejudice on 'level of experience with games' - isn't tolerated. We were all new players at one point.

Contrary to popular belief, the G.o.E. accept women as well. (The "wo" before "men" is silent. And hidden. And selectively used when referring to women.) So ladies, feel free to join as well.

RECRUIT! We need more members! We need quite a few before we can get a website, a forum and [one day] our own server!

Xbox 360 Support? REALLY?!

Due to some in-depth discussions with Krasyern - "We should also branch out to the 360 at some point." ... "Oh, definitely." - The Gentlemen of Etiquette is proud to annouce...

XBOX 360 INCORPORATION! *Fanfare*

To make a long story short, both Krasyern and I have Xbox Live accounts and we frequently play games there. If anyone is interested, feel free to add either of us on Xbox Live.

We will still be playing on Steam, so never you worry!

Also, for anyone with a Playstation 3, we will soon be incorporating you cool cats too, so just hold tight. We're looking for more members before we can do that.

A Legitimate Group? Really?

That's right, children.

See, our new objective is to get this group to take off. It started as a joke but, with some effort, we can make it take off.

Some things are going to be happening over the next few days:

1) Rewriting and Reorganizing descriptions and images / the group in general.
2) Recruting new members.
3) Working on acquiring a TF2 server, perhaps.

If anyone has any suggestions on servers, members, affiliates, making a website... Anything at all, feel free to shoot an email to myself or Krasyern.

That's a good idea Orcot. Especially since it is going to be free on steam soon. It would be a great place to spread the message of fair sportsmanship to the masses.
