Group A is nearly over but I will update everyone on how the tournament has proceeded so far in case you've missed out on the matches.

• Suco de Laranja is the second highest ranked team in Group A and have so far had a flawless record with three wins in the group stage so far. They defeated fellow Brazilian team, La Buena Onda 6-1 on Fistful; Osteoporosis 6-3 on Desperados and 6-0 against Zorro's Fighting Legion on Fistful. Osteoporosis' and Zorro's Fighting Legion's opening matches were against Suco de Laranja, though Osteoporosis have managed to recover for the most part. Zorro's Fighting Legion have yet to play their other matches.
  
  
• Osteoporosis is the highest ranked team in Group A, below Chitch's Wild Bunch, craZy_y0 & Friends and mli's Riders of the Storm. Despite losing their opening match, they have been able to take close wins against La Buena Onda and Team Worldwide. Both matches were played on Cripplecreek and La Buena Onda fell 4-6 while Team Worldwide fell 5-6 - all despite former Valentine Riders player Woomy subbing in for Trinity, in their latter match.
  
  
• Team Worldwide have so far had a fairly decent record for the matches that they have played, attaining a 6-3 win against La Buena Onda on Sweetwater while losing to 5-6 to Osteoporosis fielding a stand-in for their team leader. They are Suco de Laranja's last opponent in the group stage.
  
  
• Zorro's Fighting Legion have yet to show their full strength as they have only got a 0-6 loss to Suco de Laranja to their name. It will for sure be exciting to see what El Zorro X's team have to offer in their later matchups, also considering that his team are Osteoporosis' last opponents to face.
  
  
• Finally, La Buena Onda are sitting in last place with an almost certain elimination unfortunately. They have amassed three defeats with no victory to their name. They lost to Suco de Laranja 1-6, Team Worldwide 3-6 and Osteoporosis 4-6; their last match is against Zorro's Fighting Legion before they bow out of the tournament.
  
  
• Outside of Group A, matches have already began in Group B and Group C. The Hayseed Hoodlums defeated replacement team, RC_Squad in Group B's opener. Meanwhile; Shugazi, Deal Duck and Bugmasters have played matches against eachother with Deal Duck taking wins against both teams while Shugazi was also able to win against Bugmasters. Over to the Pacific side of things, The Rurouni Ka-Lan took a default win against Peppa Pig who have since dropped out of the tournament.
  
  
• Speaking of teams disbanding and dropping out, The Blue Shirts and Peppa Pig have both sadly pulled out. There are no teams to replace them, this as a result means that Deal Duck, Shugazi, The Wild Bunch and Bugmasters will receive default wins against The Blue Shirts. On the other hand, craZy_y0 & Friends, Beautiful Chinawares and The Diaper Babies will also receive default wins against Peppa Pig.

Here's where the juicy bit begins, determining who proceeds to the playoffs. Just to jog your memory, the playoff is a double elimination bracket and all eight teams to make it start in the upper bracket. Losing in the upper bracket sends you to the lower bracket and if you lose there, you're eliminated. One team makes the finals from the upper bracket, while the other makes them from the lower bracket.

The top two teams from each group which advance to the playoffs. Though, we as organizers have decided that in the case of a group tiebreaker, the corresponding teams will rematch against eachother in best-of-three series' but the maps will be shorter meaning that the first team to four rounds wins the map. The tiebreakers will be determined by whether more than one team has the same record, for example: two teams have two wins and two losses, or three teams have three wins and one loss. If these outcomes are met then we will hold tiebreaker matches to determine who makes the playoffs and/or acquires the high seed.

The tiebreaker matches will happen when the group stage has concluded since this will be the best way to determine whether the tiebreaker needs to be played out.

The Fragonational is starting this 06/06/2020
Only one group will start playing, as we just don't have the server availability to let all the groups play their matches at once.
The group stage format is round robin, with all the teams playing each other once.

GROUP A teams will have 11 days, from 06/06/2020 to 17/06/20, to play all their matches.
That means that if a team can play ALL their matches is one day, that's permitted.
The maximum amount of time between matches will be 2 days, that means that team will have from 06/06/20 to 08/06/20 to play their first match, and so on.
The next group matches will start at 12/06/20.
If a team leader is not reachable for a period of 2 days, starting at 12 PM BRT, a default loss is granted to said team leader's team. Proof of the contact will need to be shown to any adm.
If a match time is set, and a team does not show to play their match, a default loss will be granted to said team, and a default win will be granted to the team that did show up at the time set.
To prove that a team was, indeed, at the server on the time set by both teams, a screenshot of all the players of one's team in the server must be sent to any adm of The Fragonational. If a screenshot was not taken, server logs will be checked.
DO NOT TRY to fake the time of when the screenshot was taken, as the server log will be checked anyways.
If both teams don't show up, higher ranked team gets the default win.
Higher ranked team start the ban and pick process
Pick and ban process is, higher ranked team bans, lower ranked team bans, higher ranked bans, lower ranked bans, higher ranked bans, lower ranked bans, leftover is the map to be played.
Top two teams (scoring 2-0 or 2-1) will proceed to playoffs while the bottom two teams (scoring either 1-2 or 0-2) will be eliminated from the tournament

The tournament will be played online and will be played mostly on a brazilian server, but exceptions can be made if the ping should be found to be unplayable by the player or team, in that case another server, in another location, will used.

RULES:

General Rules

1. Any use of cheats or out-of-bounds exploits will not be tolerated, any players may be slayed or disqualified. Any other glitches within reason are fine to use.
   
2. There must be 3 players per team, substitutes are allowed given a starting player cannot attend a match for a given reason
   
3. If a player drops out of the game, the match can be paused to give the player time to reconnect to the server or the victim's team can use a substitute if the team has one registered and avaiable
   
4. Teams will be ranked, determined by external factor to ensure groups are as evenly balanced as possible

Gamemode Rules

1. All Talk is disabled (you can communicate to teammates using in-game voice without enemies hearing you)
   
2. Warm-up time is 1 minute
   
3. No map time limit, each map is round based.
   
4. First team to win 6 rounds wins. Maps are MR10, the 11th round being overtime if both team are tied 5-5
   
5. Auto Team Balance is disabled
   
6. Team Scrambling is disabled - this would restart the series if enabled

FORMAT:
The Fragonational will be a two stage tournament, being group stage and then playoffs

Draft
For Best-of-One;

1. The higher ranked team in the matchup gets to start the draft first.
   
2. Teams must ban one map at a time until there is one map left. The remaining map will be the map played for that series.

For Best-of-Three;

1. The higher seeded or ranked team in the matchup gets to start the draft first.
   
2. Both teams must ban one map each.
   
3. Both teams must pick one map each. The maps chosen by both teams will be played starting with the higher seeded or ranked team's pick.
   
4. Both teams must then ban one more map each. The map left over will be played as the decider.

Group Stage

• The group stage will be in round-robin format.
  
• Lower ranked team begins the draft.
  
• Top two teams will proceed to playoffs, everyone else is eliminated.
  
• Group stage matches are best-of-one series.
  
• Only one map is played, winner wins the series.
  
• First place teams in each group will be given a high seed but second place teams in each group will be given a low seed.

Playoffs

• Playoffs matches are best-of-three series.
  
• All teams start in the upper bracket.
  
• High seed teams will play against low seed teams in the first round.
  
• Up to three maps are played, first team to win two maps wins
  
• The higher ranked team begins the draft.
  > Each high seed team in the first upper bracket round will get to start the draft.
  > In each of the later rounds in the upper bracket, the higher ranked or seeded team will get to start the draft
  > The higher ranked or seeded team will get to start the draft in the first lower bracket round.
  > Later in the lower bracket, the team that enters the lower bracket last will get to start the draft.
  > In the grand final, the team coming from the upper bracket will get to start the draft.
