Now I will spin you a yarn of legends untold,
Of Villains quite foul and Heroes quite bold,
The land swam in darkness, in shadow and night,
Running amok were creatures never seen in light,
Yet some heroes grew strong, awaiting the day,
Where they’d fight and brawl and drive the villain away,
Yet our heroes had one but fatal flaw,
When it came to fighting, none had the gall,
The Derpateers, were foolish and young and weak,
Heroes they were not, cowardly and meek.
These fools were not like common men
They were loud and brash, and were unfit to contend
With any real heroes of this day and age,
Even less than a knight, no a squire, no a page
Yet these fools still set on their quest,
Desperate to prove that they were the best,
So they embarked, upon a quest they set
(The chance to fail is a safe bet)
They crossed the sea of lava and the desert of salt,
A king or two died, but it wasn’t their fault
At last they arrived to the Dark Wizard’s lair
They exited their steeds, a lame horse, an ass, and a mare
They climbed the tower dodging monsters and traps
Some beasts spit fire and I’m not talking raps
As they arrived at the throne room, the Wizard he stood
Clutching his armor of stone and his staff of wood,
“You Derpateers are fools” he yelled with a sneer
“Pick a god a pray for your end is surely near”
“We will prevail” The Derpateers hurrahed
“As if” the Wizard guffawed
The Dark Wizard then shot dark magycks and killed all the Derpateers dead.
