Valve has released information on their new Operating System. This OS is designed mainly for gaming. It is pretty much designed for Steam. SteamOS has been released, but as an early version, and of course, you won't want to replace your OS yet. A cool feature of the computer is that if you own any games on a Windows or Mac computer, you can stream them to a SteamOS computer. However, apart from gaming and browsing the web, it does not have many features, being a gaming only computer. Don't expect to be able to manage your photo albums or something, because this is basically a console PC. It's like Microsoft switching to entertainment on the Xbox One, but backwards. SteamOS only supports Nvidia graphics cards, so no Intel or AMD. I, personally think that SteamOS would be great for indie games, and for people who just want to game. But I'm sticking with Windows.
