The 701st 'Striders' is the 701st Legion of the Basic Orthodox Imperium. It is the foundation of what would later become known as the Patriarch's Hand. This Legion is infamous for leveling entire cities with its infantry weapons and striding among the ruins, snuffing out any remaining resistance.
