A new update for unboxer.tf is now available, adding content from TF2's Halloween and Smissmas 2024 updates. Sorry for the wait!

  • Added the Terrifying Trove Case, Scream Fortress XVI War Paint Case and Winter 2024 Cosmetic Case
  • Added new unusualifiers for the 8 taunts added in TF2's Halloween and Smissmas 2024 updates
  • Added Scream Fortress XVI and Smissmas 2024 to Event mode
  • Added Russian translation
  • Updated translations
  • Updated project dependencies
  • Development: Added tools to source code repo for automating translations for items/effects/crates and getting schema IDs (built ages ago for internal use only, expect poor UX and QoL lol)
  • Thanks to Aksel 911 for the Russian translation and help with adding Halloween 2024 items

A new update for unboxer.tf is now available, adding content from TF2's Summer 2024 update.

  • Added the Summer 2024 Cosmetic Case
  • Added new unusualifiers for the 4 taunts added in TF2's Summer 2024 update
  • Added Summer 2024 to Event mode
  • Added Halloween 2011 effects to Halloween 2012 event mode
  • Removed Halloween 2016 effects from Halloween 2017 event mode
  • Added Halloween 2011-2013 effects to Unlocked Creepy Crates
  • Slightly changed sizes and positioning of item and effect images to make effects more visible
  • Updated translations
  • Updated project dependencies

Unlisted changes from January:
  • Unusual miscs are no longer unboxable by default - instead, an unusual miscs option has been added to enable them back for crates #1-102
  • Fixed the Winter 2021 Cosmetic Case and Summer 2022 Cosmetic Case not being affected by event modes

How do you add your own cases to this? I tried some things, the website couldn't load, I think I need to find the schemas for all the items, is there a way to do that when the steam api key is broken?

The update is almost done but got delayed because of TF2's 64-bit update breaking the particle editor which is what I used to make the unusual effect images. I'm still looking for a workaround.
