Added:
Mini dueling arena duel a player by /duel "player name" (in quotes)
Housing protection. /house for more info (will come up with a guide on how to set housing later)

Or you can build a complex network of tunnels to protect your base. And then build more tunnels later to isolate any newly created hallow/corruption.

just isolate the corrption. dig few squares around the corruption so that it wont spread. can do the same for hallow as well.
