History of SGU

Sweaty Gamers United was founded in early 2013 under the leadership of 'The Almighty'. This man was a teacher to gamers the world over, in his path he left boys and girls in awe of his video game prowess. One of the things that made this man so significant was his ability to sweat while gaming. This is Almighty's claim to fame, the classic stereotype that shook the gaming industry was the very thing that gave this man his powers. Legend has it that the flood that "God" advised Noah of was actually just the Almighty on a huge killstreak.

Regardless of his unique ability, The Almighty believed himself to be of equal rank as any other gamer. His views on gaming were revolutionary and changed the face of gaming as we know it. He taught us that gaming doesn't have to include pointless banter, name calling, and banging of other mothers. For once we saw peace among our kind, collaboration of like minds.

Tragically, he passed away one night after receiving a contradictory ban (http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/groups/sweatygamersunited/discussions/0/684839198988813552/), although The Almighty had been taken to a better place, his legacy lived on through those he played with. These gamers passed their knowledge down the ranks spreading the message as they went. It is here we see SGU. A community developed in recognition of The Almighty, to protect gamers world wide as we venture through the new generation of Video Games.
