ABOUT Super Game 27

The concept of this group is to bring gamers together in a kind of video game book club.

I hope we can use this group to see if people are actually online playing the suggested games of the month, and then ponder if we should send them a message and try to join their multiplayer game.

On the 27th of each month, we will begin to play an indie game (budget of no more than $15) and have until the 25th of the next month to finish it, using the 26th to discuss the game if we want to, in some kind of Skype-podcast-review system.

Also! You will not be obligated to buy the games suggested, but they will be the games that are talked about during the month.

We're coming up to the end of your gameplay time if you want to be all finished in time for the March game!

I hope you enjoyed playing Jazzpunk and/or Robot Roller Derby Disco Dodgeball. I think the plan next month is to get us all playing the same game. This is where I want your help - who wants to suggest a game for the group to play?

We'll need a game chosen by the 26th so we can start playing it on the 27th, so submit any suggestions you have in the discussion part of this group.

Please feel free to invite any of your friends who you think would like to do something like this. We have several days until the 27th hits, so I think we can get this group to a decent size and have fun trying these games out.

I'd like to have a schedule in place for certain events, that happen on the same date of the month every month. For example: we should choose the next game(s) on the 20th; a week before we're meant to start it up. But! Sometimes sales are going to come along that are so good that we might want to be more open to picking different dates. So far, the concept is:

PLAY FROM THE 27th TO THE 25th OF NEXT MONTH
DISCUSS NON-SPOILER ASPECTS OF THE GAME THROUGH THE MONTH
DISCUSS ASPECTS OF THE GAME ON 26th (this is when we can spoiler the game)
CHOOSE THE NEXT GAME(S) AROUND THE 20th
