3DMAW #6: Textures 1: Plane with ground texture.

Task: Texture a plane with a realistic ground texture. The geometry itself must be low poly but because of correct textures, look great.

Where to start: Here's a tutorial to get you started, of course you may use the textures provided(if there are any) to create this scene.

Hello, The current 3DMAW and OGMAW projects are being cancelled. We're going to rework things to be more skill based than project based. Each week will focus on getting us to a certain point with a specific type of skill.

The reason for this is I'm bored with how things are currently working. I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I'm bored and don't think these weekly tasks are as useful as they could be. So I'm reworking the formula to fix those issues of boredom and usefulness.

For example in unity, we might do a project specifically towards getting us used to coroutines.

Or in Blender, we might do a project specifically towards texturing things properly.
