They make a private server via reverse engineering and already have a functioning forum. We need as many old players back as possible to make the game as lively as possible!

I just recently had remembered something i could have accuired to "rekindle" the days of old battleforge, i hurry to the sculpteo site to take a look, and gasp, the juggernaut 3dprint model is not there anymore!

does anyone know when that happened?
they are still on the site, the preview is still there, but the models themselves are missing :/

Playing Battleforge Demo right now on Steam.. lel. For obvious reason can only play launcher's login screen. Think I'm gonna have it running for the whole day on Oct 31st. :D

@Malvoiy: You're very wrong about that. Many people actually stepped up for BattleForge, but let's face it: The community has shrunk so much that even if the sheer amount of people left would go on a massive revolt, we couldn't have done anything. In fact, I doubt we ever could. The entire studio closed down; it's not like Phenomic had a choice. The high word came from a higher position within EA and as much as this may seem like a bastard move... Phenomic hasn't been doing well. Not well enough to retain a solid market position weighed up to the production and maintenance effort required. I don't claim that I agree with EA's decision, but I understand and respect it, and so should you. Try and look into the reason behind this all a bit more and you'll see that the world really is a harsh place and that the chances of survival were already small if not nonexistent.

Damn it all guys, I was having feels so I can back hoping to see that someone had kept a candle in the window... Instead the community died. Because no one (myself included) stepped up and did something to bring Battleforge back. Why did we do nothing?

Man, I'm missing this game. It's so sad that I was away the month BF closed down :/
I've never actively played pvp but a couple of rounds stomping rpve with my Bandit deck has always been so much fun. I still think it was the very best pure deck to have once you got it right. Man, Tortuguns with UH, super buffed Bloodhorns, Amok, Cluster Explosion and sacrificing cultists to have an unlimited T4 xD

Man, I really miss the gameplay mechanics of this game. It was so unique in many ways.

I have been playing since beta THis game has always sparked my imagination all the builds the aspect that a tcg can be a rts is still the most beautiful thing to me and this game has helped me through a lot of though times. I can't bealive its gone and i hope it will come back one day. If i ever make a crap ton of money this is something i want to bring back. This game is still beautiful even though its dead becuase it will live on in each one of us. Even if all you remeber is getting rushed by black and red playiers in 1v1 maps or if your one of those rare frost playiers which like to take things slow. Nature heals will forever be OP same with mana wing in so many pve maps.

Finally shut off the Battleforge client (with all promo units in the forge) at 7:46am on 5/11/2013. Decided the power bills aren't worth it.

Remeber,this game...good old times...me and my friend doing those invite friend for free BFP and we were just exchanging accs in order to get as much as bfp,then trade cards...in 3 months we managed to build a deck which would cost 50$ for 0...then we both bought BFP(finally) and then it started to die,no updates comming,everyday the same and all of my friends moved to League of legends,and later so did i,and now when i see its going to shut down and im unable to download the game cause of limited internet,my heart cracks in half,remembering this was the first online game me and my friends got together,where i met most of my e-friends.Farewell battleforge! Also Riot games should buy this game and take it as their own , i mean like they have billions of money,and also they need a 2rd game

I played this game allot a time ago with my friends. 1 Year later (today) we wanted to continue with this game where we already invested much time in and have to discover it is being shut down! I wasn't an active member of the community for the past year but I loved this game and hate it to see it get shut down...

3 days left till BF servers will go down forever :(

This game was on of the first online games i ever played. Me and a group of friends used to log on everyday. After a while the group broke apart and we all stopped playing, but I returned in September to hear the tragic news... This game was among the best I've ever played everything about it was great and I am sad to see it go.

IGN: Titanimus here, Sad the game is dead soon, but love RTS's. Hope we can get a private server together, or possibly mod some other game to act like Battleforge ^^

Logged onto BattleForge and saw the 'all cards' mail. Read up on it, and found out the game was closing. I'm absolutely gutted. Oh well, onwards and upwards

Dota 2 looks like it, because of the camera and stuff, but it has nothing to do with BF. AT ALL.
Only if you want to feel like playing BF again give it a try. Also Supreme Commander 2 looks like it though.

But nope, no BF cheap rip-off yet. So sad...

Just found out just today that Battleforge is done. I thought it was a pretty unique game a year back and wanted to play again, but now... Well, if there is anyway to revitalize BattleForge I will support it all the way.
