Second Origin

Hello and welcome to Second Origin! We are so ecstatic to see your interest in our community!

Second Origin is a realism server located in the Eastern Standard Time zone in the United States. Featuring realistic-as-possible (with some fantastical elements as filler for missing information) dinosaur profiles and a fair admin team, we strive to create an ideal environment where players can avoid large, toxic communities and appreciate the animals they are playing as. Second Origin hosts regular events and contests, with prizes varying from in-game elements and real-life elements.The admin team and the rest of our community are dedicated to keeping our server largely member-driven with polls and a constant open channel for feedback of any kind.

We are currently on the Thenyaw Map. Every Sunday we will temporarily switch to EVRIMA for the duration of the day. All data will be saved for each map and re-implemented on Mondays and Fridays around 5:00PM EST.

Far away into the future, at the very beginning-end of the universe, a planet was born. This planet was so akin to the Planet Earth that it followed the very same progression through the ages. The age of dinosaurs had just arrived when the planet was discovered by a group of highly advanced space-travelers. These explorers called it Dystopia, as the creatures they found lived lives far from their own worlds' utopia. They greedily and curiously put their hands into the very evolution process; saving and preserving the animals they found the most interesting--even going so far as to abduct creatures from other planets and performing perverse and wonderful experiments on Dystopia’s population as it grew and flourished.
