there are already several measures in place to help prevent/make aware but it still boils down to being human vs human. our minds perceive things a certain way and tell us to act often without hesitation or second thought. scammers are honing their skills at every attempt, be it success or fail, and are gaining experience to edge the gullible mind.
that said, taking a stance is great and i cannot disagree with your motives there. in my perspective as long as one more person is aware and able to prevent themselves from losing then i guess this group and/or idea is indeed an effective one.
