Facepunch released the delayed update and the server is now live.

The latest update comes out tomorrow morning with it a forced wipe. We've had a couple of technical setbacks getting things set up and running, but everything is running smoothly now. Players have already been on the server enjoying the huge map.

The devs have said the update tomorrow will include some performance improvments (Thank You!) and the new harborS. That's right, there will be two different ones at minimum and they look really fun.

Also, if skins is your thing, they have already uploaded several new skins to the Rust steam store and there are some pretty fun ones.

The update should hit around 6:30 am AEST give or take an hour, but rest assured that I will be updating the server as soon as possible. I'm not changing the seed, so the map should be relatively similar.

Hey Everyone,

After a long and much needed hiatus, Rusted Over is back. I've taken a look at the current server offerring for Australia/New Zealand and I've set up the server to hopefully appeal to what many of you are looking for a provide a server where players to feel the need to quit 2-3 days after a wipe.

I am still tweaking a few configuration items, but the server has/will have:

• More difficult heli events to give everyone a bit more challenge
  
• Forced wipes only (Monthly)
  
• A large map
  
• A chat filter with a zero tolerance policy for toxic players (Still to be implemented)
  
• A friendly and competive community. We had this before and that's what made us one of the best community servers in Australia.
  
• An active admin that is "hands off" meaning my focus will be on making sure the server runs at 100%, to keep hackers off and to moderate the community.

The current wipe will go till the next forced wipe and from then on be monthly.

I know a lot of you have moved on from Rust or may be taking a break and some have moved on to different servers, but I hope this may give you a reason to come back and have fun in Rust again. Let me know if you have questions or need help and I respond as quick as I am able.

Hi Everyone,

Running Rusted Over with Rover has been real fun, but due to financial and time commitments, I have decided to shut it down. If you are looking for a similarly run server, I recommend [AUS/NZ] Rustfanatic.com | Official | Stats | FRESHLY WIPED. The owner is very dedicated and an overall good person. I plan to leave the group up so you can connect with people you have previously played with and also in case I ever start a server in the future.

Hey guys, the server's been updated and the map has been wiped. We had planned to get it done this morning but had some issues updating. Thanks for everyone's patience today, and have fun with the new dungeons!

The procedural generation has changed, so the map has changed without having to change the seed, so the old URL will work for the new map:
