Hello everyone.
Today is the anniversary of the battle of Wayna Daga.

If you are unfamiliar with the battle, it was a battle between Abyssinia and the Adal sultanate. In 1543 the islamic armies clashed with the Ethiopian armies in the Amhara region of Ethiopia.
The battle probably would have been lost by the Ethiopians, but they had about 100 portuguese soldiers who managed to kill the leader of the Muslim army, and after that they left the field.
