I've written an auto team balance replacement (the part that moves the next player that dies to the other team, unrelated to scramble) inspired by the Natural Selection 2 spawn system. It's currently running only on some servers so if you have not noticed anything different it may not be there. From those that has noticed it has gotten a mostly positive response, though some recent negative comments calls for an explanation.

Since it can be a bit difficult to understand what it's all about since the system is more complex than the usual auto team balance function, I have illustrated how it works in detail, compared to the system it replaces (and some of the problems it has).

The community map Cashworks will be coming to #05 after the positive feedback during the playtest, however we need to do some work on our backend first to make sure downloads are fast. If you're not familiar with Cashworks yet you can get more information at the link below.

We are open for new volunteer admins, fighting the good fight against cheaters and troublemakers! We have been able to grow as a community quite a bit but our admin team has not and with twice as many servers we got a lot more space for more people.

As an admin you are expected to hang out on IRC, take control of situations when needed and discuss with other members of the admin team whenever something is tricky.

If you want to join then stick around on our IRC channel and mail a short (or long if you'd like) application to lwf@rocketblast.com. Make sure to include your SteamID. Decent English skills and good knowledge of the game is required. No previous experience with IRC or moderating games is needed, you will learn as you go.

We have introduced a new rule at rbtf2 to make for a more friendly environment.

Be aware that you may be kicked and/or banned for:
* Accusing another player of cheating without reason. Instead, if someone is cheating you should record a replay (press F6) and report to an admin.

In plain English: you should not call other players cheaters. Tell it to an admin if someone really is cheating, otherwise keep it to yourself.
