A griefer is a player in a multiplayer video game who deliberately irritates and harasses other players within the game, occasionally using aspects of the game in unintended ways.

Griefers are fundamental to Steam's community. We make your gaming experience better by exploiting the game through social mind fucking.

How do you know if you're a griefer?

- You express your feelings through toxic words
- You find pleasure seeing your fellow gamers rage
- You harass steam users (includes; doxing, ddosing, social mind fucking, stalking)
- You exploit games to create a cancerous environment for online players.

Classic griefer stereotypes

Many people categorize griefers as;
- Fat bully with no friends
- Skinny white kid
- Someone with daddy issues
- Loser no life COD 360 no scoper.
In reality, griefers are just like normal gamers, they just like to have fun at your expense. Victims of griefing (aka normies) usually rage and call griefers those names.I find it ironic that normies call griefers those names when THEY are the ones who are raging over a video game.
