This group is dedicated to the reporting of scammers in order to motivate valve to get off their butts and start banning these people whose accounts often go unpunished for their scams. We are not part of any compan or orginization just a group of gamers,traders, and entrepreneurs wanting to make Steam a better place. If you or anyone you know has been scammed with steam invite them so we can work to remove this toxicity from steam since this problem is too prevalent with many being scammed. While we may not get our items back we can get their accounts banned.

Process:
1. Leave link to scammer profile in comments and tell what happened (what method, what you loss, etc)
2. Provide Proof (Steamrep link or screenshots of convo or trade)
3 . Report other profiles if they have proof

Rules:
1. Dont Spam (one comment per profile is fine, i understand if youre upset but please keep it civil)
2. Keep it relevant. Only scam profiles or group related posts allowed.
3. PROOF IS REQUIRED

Q:Why did I make this?
A: I was scammed before with the paypal invoice scam for almost all my TF2 BP for about 140$ i was lookin to cashout and was too naive. I already profited from trading TF2 but it still stinged. I submitted a report and i was dismayed that the scammer still had his account even though he was registered as a scammer on steamrep for over a year. Looking at others people's experiences this is a common problem and many have lost alot more money than I have.Because of this I wanted to do something and here we are.

Q: Why do I need proof?
A: We cant just take anyone words for it you see? if we reported everyone whose profile was posted here lots of innocents would get investigated. I also encourage making a steamrep report as well.

Q: I was scammed will I get my items back?
A: Short answer no. Valve states in their policies that they will nor restore scammed BP's as you were fully aware and took the risk outside trade window. But if your account was HIJACKED they sometimes restore and if they do only ONCE. You are free to send a ticket if you were scammed and plea but dont expect it to suceed. My condolensces.

Q: Anyways I can get my scammer punished?
A: Always report their profiles but i have great success detailing my scam andnproviding proof to steam support. You can do this while attempting to get your items back or just want to report a major scam ring. Not only does this prompt valve to actually take action and investigate, even if they wont notify you the results of their investigation. Report To Steamrep as well.

Q: Are there any safe ways to actually cashout?
A: OPSkins now offers safe cashouts on Dota,CS:GO,and TF2 items would definetly recommend them.

A: Invite as many people as you can and report scammer profiles. Once we have enough members I will give mod to active members.
