ABOUT Rebellion Against American Bill SOPA

If you love your internet, take this seriously.

This is a serious matter if you do not understand, SOPA & PIPA (Stop Online Privacy Act & Preventing Real Online Threats to Theft of Intellectual Property) is a new bill passed down by American congress to block well known websites such as youtube and I have a ugly feeling that Steam might be in danger of this. And this will not only affect America it will also affect other countries such as China, Syria, and Iraq. If many will remember back on the 29th on November Megaupload (known site for downloading branded as piracy) was taken down for being called a "rouge website" and to try and help raise awarness, famous rap artists made songs about it and was posted on Youtube but was later taken down as a "Violation of Agreements". ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Youtube had every right to post them up and that kind of move is known as Corporal Censorship. And this may sound ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up but they are trying to cover up so people would side with them and have not only Youtube bloacked but Facebook, piracy websites, and supposidly Steam like I said before. And this can even be done by normal citizens posting copyright infringement and have websites shot down. So if people still like to take this as a joke you will be banned by either me or the admins.

ACTA passed months ago. It's pretty much all the previous bills rolled up into one. And just like that one bill that lets the government detain american citizens for an unlimited amount of time without cause "or ever having to contact said citizen's family again" this never got any media attention. No one cared that their rights where being stripped away because the general public still gets all their news from the TV networks owned by the same companies that not only signed onto all these bills but helped make modern piracy tools popular on their websites in the early 00's and also promoted piracy of rival companie's work. Yep, They are throwing single moms and college kids in prison for using software these companies promoted themselves before recent years. And Judges are tards when it comes to the internet and automatically agree to anything feed to them by these major media companies who want nothing more than to stop the little guy from making his own living online without them.
