Co-op Game:
  • Launch L4d2
  • Select Play Campaign
  • Select Play with Friends
  • Select Create New Campaign Lobby
  • For Server Type select Steam Group Server
  • Then click "Create Lobby"
  • When you are ready to start the game click "Start the Game" and you will see a list of Steam Group servers. Click on the server that you want and then click "Join Game" and your Co-op lobby will be taken to that Steam Group server.

Versus Game:
  • Launch L4d2
  • Select Play Versus
  • Select Play with Friends
  • Select Create New Versus Lobby
  • For Server Type select Steam Group Server
  • Then click "Create Lobby"
  • When you are ready to start the game click "Start the Game" and you will see a list of Steam Group servers. Click on the server that you want to join and then click "Join Game" and your Versus lobby will be taken to that Steam Group server.
