Reviewing Leyline Chronicles: Because Free is My Favorite Price

Why am I reviewing Leyline Chronicles? Because the developer sent me a free copy, and when someone hands me a game for free, I’m going to give it at least 20 hours (unless it’s awful). (Yes, I accept bribes—in the form of free games. Feel free to judge me.)

If I beat it in 20 hours, great! It'll get a full review. If I don’t finish it or it loses my attention, I’ll still post a review explaining exactly why it couldn’t keep me hooked. Harsh? Maybe. Honest? Always.

Now, if this game turns out to be a hidden gem that exceeds all my expectations, I’ll hold off for a final, in-depth review. And if it somehow blows my socks off by the end, you can expect an updated glowing recommendation.

For now, the journey begins. Let’s see if Leyline Chronicles is a time well spent—or 20 hours I’ll never get back. JRPG is a kind of genre I loved in my SNES years. Lets see how it holds up.
