How does RaffleUp! work?

It's very simple, each user sends in a key as a buy-in, once the amount of keys needed is reached the item is ready to be raffled out. Each user is given a number, and that number is drawn randomly by random.org. The winner receives the item. Multiple keys can be given to increase your odds of winning.

Some items are worth less than the keys needed, why's that?

We take around 30% keys extra per item raffle which goes to the next items, it's essential we have a profit in case something goes wrong with the market, item values. We 100% assure you each key which is taken extra is used in the next raffle, it also may be used as an incentive to keep these raffles going. We feel it's best to be upfront about this, as some people may feel there is some alterior motive.

What if more keys are given than the needed amount?

These are counted as extra entries, however if over 20% of the original amount is exceeded, the keys are returned. An example of this would be, if 100 keys were required, if we got an extra 20, totalling 120 keys, and one more user wanted to buy into the raffle with another key. That key wouldn't be accepted, as it would make the odds too out of place. We feel it's a first in best dressed kind of raffle system.
