Timeless Classics, back with a Center-Held Vengeance!

To those of you who may have been clicking back here, you may have noticed that the forums are looking a bit simpler than they used to be-- lots of clutter categories from the original launch have been taken down in order to bring group discussion a little closer together, should the forums become more active. Our goal is to at least serve as a place to organize game sessions together during the group's hiatus, and these restructures will allow unofficial matchmaking between our members to take place. If you're interested in joining with others, make sure to subscribe to the general forum to look out for scheduled games!

We have also created a new subforum to discuss any and all curator-related matters. Whether it's your own opinions on a certain game or if you feel that an old game on Steam may be overlooked to some degree, every Curation from now on should be directly linked to this subforum now in preparation for the new Curator update Valve has been teasing for quite some time.

In the meantime, I don't really have anything to announce yet for the group. As I stated before, we are in the process of finding a more streamlined approach to managing this group that will both make organizing matches simpler and keep our members engaged-- it seems that a mix of burnout and confusing new systems really bogged down the group in our last public run, and I'd like to avoid that in the future.

I'd just like to close this off by pointing out that Good Old Games brought out Grim Fandango Remastered for free to kick off their Holiday Sale. If you haven't already, I highly recommend making a GOG account to claim a free copy in the next 36 hours, as Grim Fandango is a masterpiece of the adventure genre, as well as one of the most accessible old-school adventure games that new audiences could ask for. GOG is also a great place to pick up many classic games, including recent rereleases of DESCENT and Jazz Jackrabbit.
