GTA 5 Steam version downgrades.
Scripthookv for 1.0.3323.0 has been updated.
https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/271590/discussions/0/4842022053900425487/

edit ----
The RAGE Plugin Hook has now been updated to work with the new game version. Although LSPDFR does not need an update, the latest RAGE Plugin Hook is included with the LSPDFR download.

Sept 17, 2024 -

The 'battle eye update' -

Steam version ----
Link to dowgrade gta5.exe / title.rgl file - ver 1.0.3274.0
https://ufile.io/4rnipwrl
*confirmed working here, with only .exe replacement and 'scripthookv'/menu only.
(shvdn, opeiv, lspdfr, etc etc - all work as if the game was still 1.0.3274.0)

Epic Version --- 1.0.3274.0 --- you can give these a try.
title.rgl - egs version - https://ufile.io/l2qvoknr
Gta5.exe - EGS version - 1.0.3274.0 https://ufile.io/3maf2oyb

Links good for 30 days. People have reporteds 'ads' off this hosting site. In my testing recently I haven't seen any. Slow download, no need for an account. If it is too problematic I can upload the files to another location - just let me know on my profile or something.

Update, and update.rpf will be available in a bit - they are much much larger.
They would go into gtav / update folder. If you use a 'mods' folder - likely don't need.
If you don't use a 'mods' folder steam's update likely replaced their vanilla location.

Update.rpf - https://ufile.io/equzmiy3
Update2.rpf - https://ufile.io/apfpoaa7

-NOTE NOTE NOTE ----------
You will need to open the R* launcher, go to settings, and uncheck Battleye.
It appears be to blocking any storymode mods (for me atleast) - to play storymode mods. Unchecking battleye will disable online til rechecked.

There's ALSO a -nobattleye command line option you can toss in launch options or commandline.txt as well.

Windows 10 compatibility - R* launcher / moaning.
Obviously... don't be on 7/8 -.-

Yes, R* removed support for windows 7/8 -

but wait wait!! - I am on windows 10 or 11! ---- keep reading.

(this problem can also appear as initialization errors)

You may even see this in my docs / rockstar games / launcher / launcher..log =
[2024-04-30 09:11:36.610] [ ERROR ] [Main ] [error] * Code: 111 (LAUNCHER_ERR_UNSUPPORTED_WINDOWS_VERSION)
[2024-04-30 09:11:36.610] [ ERROR ] [Main ] [error] * Extra:
[2024-04-30 09:11:36.610] [ ERROR ] [Main ] [error] * Localised: Only Windows 10 and later are supported. Please verify your OS version and check your Windows compatibility settings by right-clicking the game icon and going to Properties->Compatibility."

Onward to fix-
Rightclick gtav(or rdr2) in steam, properties, installed files, browse installed files.
Rightclick each application / .exe in there (gta5, gtavlauncher, playgtav, or rdr2.exe and playrdr2.exe) -
properties, compatibility tab - uncheck windows compatibility mode, apply.
(yes, you can 'run' gta5.exe as other compats for 'reasons' - sort it out yourself)

If you are on EGS or R* versions - the same may very well apply.
Go remove windows vista, 7, 8, 8.1 compatibility mode enables. -.-

Then go to c / program files / rockstar games / launcher -
(or wherever you installed if not default - rightclick shortcut, open file location)
Remove compatibility mode on r* launcher.exe, / launcherpatcher.exe (check other .exe if you want).

edit - and removing compatibility mode on the steam.exe as well / restart steam~

Test. If it doesn't work - make sure that the launcher has closed out completely - force close it in taskmanager or restart pc if necessary, and try again. There have been apps over the years that have prevented proper game/launcher shut down - ghub is one of them.

If you have multiple folders/copies installed - be sure you've checked them all.

Some users claim 'run as admin' is also triggering this - but I've not tested/seen. I'd imagine you'd have to test 'that' across steam, r* launcher exe's, social club exe's, gta5.exe's. Again, not testing that. The only 2 things triggering the compatibility box -for me- are - R* launcher, and launcherpatcher (I'm on win10). Win11 users may see different behavior.

It may be possible that users 'NOW' require RUN AS ADMIN to be checked for launcher, or launcherpatcher. The R* launcher/files, and gta5/rdr2 .exe's - have been rife with issues of run as admin or not varying across systems, windows versions, builds - for years. Be methodical and test it all.

Said differently -

/goodluck

edit - This doesn't account for any newly created R* errors/causes. Some users claiming to need to manually install battleye for this to work but I've not experienced this yet. Isn't hard to do - just got run gta5_BE and it should install. There is also a battleye folder with a .ini you can edit to make it not silent, etc. Either way, easy enough to test. Beyond that you get into vcredists, antivirus/securiy etc (including things that possible mess with battleye but I digress). You could also just opent he R* launcher, and disable battleye to remove that part of the equation via settings - uncheck battleye. I mean, when I uninstall battleye here - it doesn't give that error.. anyway. I think it had more to do with a pc restart, and the closing/restarting of apps after having checkmarks removed. But just IMHO~

Email not found or password is invalid.
There are some that had their account credentials changed getting this error. I'd try logging into the social club website first. Verify those credentials work. Verify log you in proper, and see your games/stats/linked steam account. If you do not see this - that is a problem - will be more at the bottom for that.

If it logs in fine - some users have had this for gta5 - and they just renamed my docs / rockstar games to -old and then it worked fine. Some needed to manually open the R* launcher to properly log in once and all was well. Others had 'multiple copies' of the game from different launchers and things were screwy. Possible to have related issues with lack of admin, onedrive, or other av/security (this includes.. windows defender, and controlled folder access --- allow rdr2, gta5, r* launcher, and social club). There's probably more, or more rdr2-related so goodluck with that search. (yes, this info is valid for both gta5, and rdr2)

For those that don't know how to add stuff to controlled folder access - google it.
Else, you can search windows for controlled folder access. Run game (just to be sure the 'blocked apps' gets populated. Close it all out.

Click 'allow an app through controlled folder access' -
click + add an allowed app - click recently blocked apps.
There should be a list now with gta5, social club helper, r* launcher. (or search pc for them - gta5.exe, socialclubhelper.exe, and r*'s launcher.exe (wherever you managed to install this)
Click the + to add all 3. Close. Test.

Or - if you are really bold -
Search powershell, rightclick, run as admin.
Copy and paste these 3 lines. One at a time into powershell - hit enter. They should work, with no red text. Tweak them if necessary to match your directories -

Add-MpPreference -ControlledFolderAccessAllowedApplications "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Launcher\Launcher.exe"

Add-MpPreference -ControlledFolderAccessAllowedApplications "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Social Club\socialclubhelper.exe"

Add-MpPreference -ControlledFolderAccessAllowedApplications "Put your Gta5.exe or Rdr2.exe location here"

If your credentials don't log into the website -
Lots of info /more details here regarding this/variations of getting this fixed, etc -

(this info has been known for years usually covered by the wholesale 'r* launcher/social club' fix/threads) ---- but seems to need its own thing now with the recent hacked account/incorrect info noinsense.

Unlinking Steam account from Social club account - R* response.
tl;ldr - Gta5/(*possibly)rdr2 keys are single use, non-transferable cd keys. Unlinking doesn't release the keys. They remain tied to the first social club account they are used on. You can't just make a new social club account and plug it in. Rebuying the game on the same steam account will also get you the same cd key unless you jump through many hoops contacting BOTH R* and Steam to get them get them to wipe the key. Think weeks, or month(s) - IF - you can even get them to do it.

Else, you are buying the key on a different steam account, using it on 'real' steam account before it is linked on/with social club on the 'new' steam account. Bearing in mind that account recovery will likely be worse in the future because now the cd key is not on the correct steam account for links/purchase receipts, etc.

*in regards to rdr2 - you can unlink/link other social club accounts - however, you will still likely lose other R* games like gta5 doing this process. Assess your situation/games. You will certainly loss online progress for rdr2/gtao. As the years roll on - R* has been changing their processes regarding this. When in doubt - ask R* to clarify.

Rockstar has changed some of their unlinking information/pages to be 'clearer' -

Below is a Dec 2023 response in about unlinking a steam account from social club.-
(slightly modified for steam post/readability)
(original link - https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/271590/discussions/0/4029096934191495278/#c4029096934192184838 )

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rockstar support.

The rights to play GTAV are linked to both Social Club and Steam accounts. These accounts must remain linked or you will not be able to play GTAV or GTA Online with any of these accounts.

If we unlink your Steam account from your Social Club account, you will not be able to play GTA Online or GTAV with your Social Club account, even if another Steam account is subsequently linked.

However, if you still wish to proceed with unlinking from Steam, please contact us with the following information:

The nickname of the Social Club that you no longer want linked to Steam.

Screenshot showing that you are logged in to Steam, with your Steam profile name and your Steam64 ID.

The Steam ID64 written in the body of the request text. Sign in to Steam Click your Steam profile name in the top right corner of the window and select "Account Details." Take a screenshot that shows your Steam profile and Steam ID64 clearly visible on the screen.

Copy and paste the Steam ID64 into your response

Confirmation that you understand that by unlinking the accounts you will not be able to play GTA Online or GTAV with any of these accounts.

Unlinking accounts will also result in the loss of progress made in Red Dead Online.
When replying, please reply via your email rather than via the support site.

Once we have this information, we can proceed with your request. We greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation during this process.

Best regards, Rockstar Support.

Rdr2 may/will let you unlink/link another steam - but you'll still lose other R* games - access your situation.

Long story short - if you are 'unlinking' because of lost/forgotten/hacked accounts -
Recover your social club account, or simply kiss it (or some games) goodbye.
