Project Valkyrie is a fast paced multiplayer mod for the Source Engine. The mod was inspired by retro classics such as Metroid, Megaman and Quake but aims to bring it's own ideas to the party.

If you like Project: Valkyrie and live in Europe you can get together with other European players in this group to arrange games or ask questions.

How to add the steam.inf file:
=======================
1. create a new text file inside the /SteamApps/SourceMods/3mm folder
2. name it steam.inf
3. open it with a text editor such as notepad
4. write the line: appID=218
5. save
6. restart steam
=======================
This is vital for beeing able to join and play on a server since the big TF2 server update that changed the steam keys for Orangebox games and mods.

Good news for everyone who loves PV:

i rented a gameserver for this mod at Click'nKill.com

It's paid for the next few months and surely will remain if there's enough traffic on it.
I'll do my best to make playing on this server as enjoyable as possible.
Expect new maps, events and maybe even some other improvements.

BTW: don't forget to add the steam.inf file and restart steam before joining the server.

It was a half way good turnout, 5 ppl showed up and we had some fun.
Sadly my connection cannot handle more then 3 ppl playing at once (maybe 4 if i don't play who knows).

BUT this was just a test to verify that the server is working and clients are able to play on there without beeing kicked or anything.
I'm going to rent a gameserver now, so expect a PV server up and running soon, with 10 playerslots and a better latency and also faster download of custom maps.

Oh yea the suprise... we played 3mm_temple for the first time, it's still very WIP since i started from scratch 2-3 days ago.

I had it textured with the solar textureset yesterday, but this was only a temporary solution and i'm going to change that soon.
The map is based on the layout of the temple found in Goldeneye, but it was changed and improved to suit this mod, e.g. by adding morphball tubes and allow the player to reach certain areas he won't be able to in the original map.
