Phoenix Republic

The official steam group of the Phoenix Republic. The Phoenix Republic is a community of towns and user groups within the upcoming game by Richard Garriott, "Shroud of the Avatar".

What is the Phoenix Republic?

The Phoenix Republic is the nation state currently consisting of three cities. The capitol of this republic is Port Phoenix, but representation for each is given within the community. The goal of the Republic is to create a community for like-minded individuals, and to develop the resources to empower players of all kinds of play styles to play the game *they* want to play.

What is your focus?

Port Phoenix is the capitol city of the Phoenix Republic, and aims to be a global center for commercial and cultural endeavors.

Sawtooth Hollow is a combat and role-play-centric city for PvP-oriented or evil-themed role-players.

Phoenix Fields is a quieter, agricultural residential area with larger lots that connects to Port Phoenix.

Overall, we wish to build an interactive community and provide great locations for player-run events.

Do you charge taxes or any up-front fees?

We do not charge any form of up-front fees or solicit taxes. We do, however, accept all manner of donations.

Hello everyone, Kazyn here.

Just wanted to post this simple request. As you all know, I have been spending a lot of time helping new avatars whever I see them however I can. I would request that you all help do the same to at least pitch in and try to be a helping hand on both steam as well as in game.

I appreciate Jack, Wody and others who have been helpful within the steam forum posts so far. Lets put on a good face both for the group as well as the game's community.
