Our purpose: To support, encourage and foster a spirit of playing nice within the gaming community.

Lets all try and promote good gaming habits and in-game behavior in the hopes of putting a smile on someone else's face and making the world (physical or virtual) a better place for all.

You can do your part and be a #PlayNice ambassador by adding the tag "#PlayNice" either after or before your in-game nick, alternatively in some games (e.g. CS:GO) you can select this to be your team tag.

I hope this message finds you well, wherever you are and whatever game(s) you are playing. Unfortunately, this is not an announcement on Dungeons and Dragons.... rather

Discord and Departure

Discord

After a long time, I finally implemented some changes to the Discord server and started inviting some of you.

I hope you will all make good use of it and form lobbies. The server currently has a HLTV bot, music bot (FredBoat) and an interesting channel. Feel free to check it out for yourselves.

Charmander will be moderating in my absence. Please give him, dimsim and the others your support. Also feel free to volunteer yourselves if you are keen.

Departure

I am off for my next mission/field assignment. This one is particularly troubling and it has given me pause to reflect.

I truly believe that our vision statement is worth striving for. I hope that by being a part of this little community you also believe (at least to some extent) in our purpose. Furthermore, I hope you will meet gamers who are like-minded. Both as individuals and as a group, we can support, encourage and foster a spirit of playing nice within the gaming community.

I sincerely wish all of you the very best in your endeavours and hope to catch some games together in the future. Till then Good Luck and Have Fun!

Destiny 2 Clan & Next Mission

Dear All,

I hope this finds all of you well and gaming happily. It's been a while since my last announcement and I thought this would be a good time for another.

Destiny 2
Since it's arrival to Steam and now being Free-2-Play I figure that quite a number of you would be interested in taking it up. As such, I created a PlayNice clan within the game. Links posted below.

If you are interested in joining up please post your username in this announcement. Also express your interest if you would like to contribute in helping to manage the clan.

Next Mission
I have enjoyed my brief time back home as well as been able to once again hang out online with you guys in Discord and CS:GO. However, I will soon have to head off for my next mission. Which will keep me away from home and Steam; for one year. Till then I hope you guys continue supporting Dimsim (and the group) in keeping the PlayNice spirit alive.
