Me and Hobo are considering restarting the server.

However this is only a consideration at this moment.

If you want the server to be restarted leave a comment below or like this announcement, and remember the more of you who return the more likely we will restart and be bigger and better than before!

Thanks to Yakier, and Makarov (if there is anyone else involved let me know and I will include them), as they are starting up another server in memory of PEG, PTG I believe it is (Proper Terrorist Gaming) so they will be starting a new steam group and this one shall be for PEG members to organise game nights and other events and pretty much to keep in touch.

I hate to write this, as PEG has built up a truly great community of people, but I have to shut it down. This bug requires a total reinstall, which I unfortunately do not have the time to commit to, and I still dont know what caused this bug, so it could easily happen again a few weeks down the line.

Thank you, for making this server (and the running of it) a damn good time, and for building a community that can hopefully continue to be friends.

Please try to bare with us, we are currently facing an incredibly weird bug, which we are really trying to sort out, thanks for your patience. It will be up ASAP.

I know that there have been lag problems recently, along with a few crashes, I apologise for this. I have spoken to the hosts of the server, who when I told them about this, responded telling me that there were many DDoS attacks on other servers on the same system, which was affecting this server as well. I then asked what was being done, this is what I recieved:

We're in the process of getting all plans completed to retro-fit our own building into a data centre with 10Gbps connectivity to all racks etc to combat this.

However the build process will take a few months and won't start until the end of July.

We will do our best in the mean time to deal with them quickly.

Please hang on until then and we will do our best to fight through it.
