We're Downsizing, Big Time

Hello everyone,
Here's just a bit of an update on what we're going to start doing again for Pedia Beasts. If you read this then below is just a bit of a description, but if you go down a couple sections on this announcement then you can see what we're getting rid of and changing.

Pedia Beasts for the last 6-12 months (I think) has been running on a pretty thin line in terms of activity and whether or not the group/organization/community (whatever you want to call us) is actually still alive.

To reassure - We are definetely still alive, and there are still plans for Pedia Beasts.

Us as staff have been pretty busy with other things going on in our lives, and when it comes to getting work done on our Gang Beasts related communities - We've been pouring in lots of work towards the Gang Beasts Discord, which is a pretty close community with a lot of shared staff between that and Pedia Beasts.

Pedia Beasts started quite a while back - It branched off of the 'Ultimate Gang Beasts Guide' that I made back in like 2015. A couple years after that guide, I had formed Pedia Beasts and then had "taken over" my own guide as a company/community. Since then, there have been many more Pedia Beasts creations, such as; Multiple Steam guides, this group, a Pedia Beasts Discord, a (cancelled) Gang Beasts Wikia, and close partnership injections with other 3rd party communities...

...With our current staff and our busy-ness, keeping up with all this work is next to impossible. Which is why we've barely done anything in a long time.

To attend to this and get things back up to speed, we are removing and downsizing multiple Pedia Beasts platforms. Please continue reading below to get a heads up on our location statuses.


The Ultimate Gang Beasts Guide (AKA GB Pedia Beasts Mini) - We will pick up on faster development for that soon and continue with it's inital plans as a guide.

Gang Beasts Benchmarking Tool - The guide will be updated in the future to provide more accurate details, display more benchmarks, and ultimately provide more information.

Pedia Beasts Group (the group you're reading this from) - Originally, the intended idea for this group was to act as a hub, community, and a wiki all in one. However, we will be ditching the wiki idea and all current wiki related threads in the discussions on this group will be removed, and the group discussions will be reformatted and updated.

Pedia Beasts Discord - The PBD was a fun and small spin-off community that we created to get more people together. The server didn't really take off as well as planned. That's ok though - The Gang Beasts Discord is really enough for any Gang Beasts-related Discord server to exist in the first place. If Pedia Beasts does ramp up quite a bit again in the future then starting up a new Discord server is an idea that's on the table. The server was deleted today.

Pedia Beasts Testing Grounds - This died long ago, but we will finally be getting rid of it officially.

Gang Beasts Wikia - We already announced a while back that our plans for the official GB Wiki was cancelled. Some development had already started on it, but we stopped a few weeks after starting. This is old news but I just want to bring this to light again if anyone may be wondering.
