What Happened?
Apparently there was a huge issue with the rates of unboxing unusual hats which pretty much shot valve in it’s only foot left. Unusual unbox rates skyrocketed and reached around a 50-50 chance to an alleged 100% guaranteed chance of unboxing an unusual in crates. These odds are significantly higher in crates 1-10, 16, 17, 18, 82, and 85. Now please be wary of this information as I’m not encouraging anybody to unbox these crates and make matters worse, I’m simply trying to inform you about the state of the tf2 economy as of today (Friday July 26, 2019).

What's Going To Happen?
What’s really scary is that Valve has been banning accounts that have been trading, selling for real world money, and listing these hats on the tf2 community market. Scrap.tf and stntrading both disabled their unusual banking feature and everything is on lockdown for the time being.

What To Do:
All I can say now is, “do NOT and I repeat DO NOT TRADE THESE UNUSUALS FOR CASH OR KEYS”. There is always that possibility of selling your old crates to get rid of them to make a quick buck to those willing to jeopardize their account, but idunno. That kind of feels like cheating. Be careful out there and if you do unbox, please be smart about it. I don’t want you guys losing your accounts. We need to stay positive as always and hope that valve fixes this issue asap.
