As the title says, the second GMR tournament is up for registration at http://challonge.com/second_GMR_Civilization5. To register, contact me on GMR and give an email so that Challonge.com can ping you.

To participate, you will also need to be a member of the civilization league (civilizationleague.org), the multiplayer league for GMR users, as games will count in the rankings.

Only one of the team members needs to open Patronage and if you refrain a bit from entering modern era, then you'll be voted new host and your team will get the upper hand in the votes.

But in theme13, it's much better to rush for Plastics (Oxford x2+GSs mandatory), have one specialize in beakers and the other in gold for the upgrades.

Just upload on the site the latest file for your game as though you had just finished your turn and the player after you will be able to finish his turn normally.

Recreating as a scenario actually gives you the civ of the first host of the game. It's therefore a bit tricky. You need to invite everybody, launch the game, skip your turn, quit, then join as your old civ, then the new host needs to invite the old host... Therefore this path should be taken by the first host only.

Ayu is right, just don't panick. It's very unlikely that nobody in your games ever uses the GMR client, therefore your games can be restored any turn back up to the latest. Of course, the process might be tedious if you're the one restoring them all, but that should be the tasks of the hosts of each games, or whenever possible, of the last person to play their turns to set nobody backwards.

Reupload the previous turn in your GMR archive directory under C:\Users\You\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Saves\hotseat\GMR Archive and GMR will take care of switching the player to an AI for you.

Revert two players back! That's a well known bug.
