This will be an always enabled theme as well - it is a science victory condition only, so the game will take a little longer than others.. and it is a large map so that those trying to win by science can try to remain hidden longer than compared to a small map

that is why the games and themes are optional, not all are liked by everyone.

Ok folks, theme 11 is up now.. This one is different a bit... in that once there are 2 players left, the game will end.... as the top 2 players will be considered the winner..

ah... i can reply using a browser!... its apparently only the steam client that isn't working... so ... guess it isn't a permissions issue either... just tested another group again with my steam client, and can reply there, but not here with steam client... well at least i can use the browser now.. i'll stick with this.

For some reason, I can't post replies to people's threads.. what the heck?? Has anyone ever had that issue and resolved it? (hopefully you resolved it or you won't be able to reply lol)

edit: It appears to only be a problem in this group... NullMaster, Tazzik - is there something in my permissions somehow that may be messed up? I can't even reply on my own thread.


Edit: Hi NullMaster - I just tried replying in this thread and I can't. I'm not using a browser, I'm using the steam client. I get no error - the post comment button just doesn't do anything. I tested out trying to reply in the official Civ group and I could there.. On this group, i get the box, type the message, hold my mouse over the post comment button and it changes with the onmouse hover over, but clicking does nothing.....

I've extended Theme 9 until August 31st, and created Theme 10, where it is another "Reuse a theme" - pick any theme you want to play (except theme #4.... )

I use option #3, but just unchecking BNW and G&K, and I watch the folder while I'm playing, and the filesizes are always in line with what they should be.

I do find though - my civ crashes quite often when I'm trying to return to my main menu after playing a turn.

The thing to remember is, the bloating check is GMR's protection/prevention so that the file sizes do not climb too high, causing people to not be able to play the game anymore.

Hi Sartain, For those, the game needs to be reverted to players turns for it to be resolved.

There seems to be some site performance issues. Are others having issues with the site too? I click on a link, and it can take up to 5 minutes for that link to appear.
