Neither is particularly high on the scoreboard, so be aware that you may be facing somewhat of a challenge. As far as I know, neither is currently at war.

We’re roughly in the industrial period.
Poland is currently second in score and is doing quite well. They have a massive army, a strong culture and tourism, a decent number of wonders and the dominant religion.

(I've deleted most of my earlier posts in this thread because those positions were filled long ago).

It's no fun if you already know what the map looks like. Most people want to have fun, rather than wanting to win so badly that they will run through the entire game just to see the map.

Thank you for your quick reply. In the end I managed to drop the player by temporarily lowering the skip limit. (This person had missed 3 of the first 4 turns.)

I tried dragging the player to the trash icon, but that didn't work.
