You're feedback is certainly appreciated! We're still early enough in the implementation of it all that we could take in suggestions for large and small changes to design and function. In fact that's something we hope to gain by sharing our goals and progress with you all as we're developing it!

Yeah, GMR can't skip a player in a two player game since it does so by setting them to AI in the save file. If there's only one human player in a save file then that person would effectively be playing a single player game inside CiV and it would never end on the other players turn =\

That sucks that you're out already Rillithain! Those X-Com units are crazy tough! What I thought was a pretty substantial attack on my part is getting completly obliterated by XCom. I've got mostly MI and Bazookas. This match might not go my way either :)

I believe only you would need to do that when you create the game, as that's when all such settings for the game get locked in place and persisted through the save file.

Is it just me, or is the World Congress horribly imbalanced in a 1v1 game?

I'm not sure how CiV decided who would be the first host of the world congress, but it picked me, probably since I'm the first player in the game? And I've been able to horribly abuse my opponent with those 2 extra votes! I've got my idealogy as the world ideology (another two vote lead), enacted a trade embargo on my opponent, and am attempting to ban his most common lux. The fact that we're in the later era where the congress meets every 5~10 turns compounds the issue.

What do you guys think?

Hey guys, I'll get the games Rillithain created kicked off tomorrow morning! I didn't get as much time on the computer this weekend as I thought I would and also discovered an additional little tweak I need to make to have these games function the way we want them to.

So you should be getting added to a game and have it automatically started for you tomorrow. I'll post here when it's all done! :)
