How does your client pick which save file to upload?

The Windows client uses file system monitoring to watch the saves directory for new or modified files. When it detects that a file (any file) has been saved it reads it in and does some preliminary parsing. In the new MR Windows Client we actually read the GameID from the save file and that tells us which game to submit it for, making turn submition completely automatic.

Awesome, good finds! I added you to as a collaborator on the GitHub project. If you're familiar with Qt projects, could you go ahead and setup the solution with a basic window and we can start filling in implementation?

So who can take the first stab at setting up the Qt project? Through my new job I work on a MacBook Pro, while I'm still a PC guy at home. So I'm ready to dive into this cross-platform world :)

So Tazzik was the one that came up with our UX design for the desktop client. We initially did it with Windows in mind, but hoped that the cross-platform experience could be similar. You can view a PowerPoint of it here: http://1drv.ms/1kPkcmp

The current implementation of the Windows Client[github.com] is slightly different in the way it prompts the user to authenticate, but other than that it follows this UX design.

Depending on what's possible and the best practices on Mac/Linux, parts of the design may need to be tweaked. We're definitely open to that!

Sorry it's been so long without an update on this! The last couple months have been crazy what with the holidays and a job change. But I've got the project created on GitHub and added Mobius3 and Silasary as collaborators.

Hi all,

I made a Mac client using Electron[electron.atom.io] (a Javascript framework behind Github Atom, Slack and a few other desktop apps), which can theoretically also be compiled for Linux and Windows (but I haven't tried yet).

Way cool, I'll look for a chance to try it out!

Also, any suggestions for a continuos integration server? I have a lot of experience with TeamCity, which I could setup on a publicly visible VM for our use. Are there any other services already in place we might consider?
