ABOUT [MK] Homboiz [MK]

Open to any game, any day

Hello, my name is Lanzer, Lysander, or Buzz. Any of the three work. I am founder of the [MK] Homeboiz, and it used to be solely for Garry's Mod server that Mark owned, and a very strict amount of people were aloud to join. But now, we are expanding our gates and opening our doors to try and become a larger community. We play a diverse ammount of games now, ranging from Left 4 Dead for the X-Box 360, to EVE Online for the computer.

We are accepting ANYONE, except for idiots, we already got enough lol. Mainly, you will see me (Captain.Lysander) playing Team Fortress 2, Garry's Mod, World of Warcraft or EVE Online. I leave my computer on overnight, so If I don't reply if I'm online, that is because I'm either asleep or away. We are looking for active members and game players, and I hope people will try to play other games with the rest friendly members. INVITE FRIENDS!

Our rules are very simple; Don't act stupid in game.
If you are playing a game with us, we expect you to be serious about playing it and we want you in because you're interested in different games. Don't go playing a Garry's Mod server with us while we're building and make a flying bathtub with Gman for wheels while attaching a turret that shoots out traffic cones to DM. (Although, if someone made it, I would love an Advanced Dup of it please xD)

We ARE looking for active admins, so asking would not be a crime, also invite your friends. We need as many people as we can get for all the different games to play :D

Also, main admin locations are in Alaska, and we have a timezone of GMT -9. When summer comes around, we stay up allot and play allot of different games and servers, and most likely host some of our own. European members are welcome as well, we have a European admin, so don't be afraid to join because you think none of the admins will be online during the night for us Americans.

Work, Servers, Their Coming Soon!

Hey guys, I just want to remind you that the date for my move and start of work is coming soon! In two weeks I'll be packed up and on a ferry to a new town, where my Stepmom is a cop and she said she's getting me a job there right when I get up there! (She's so awesome, she knows everything :D)

The servers that will be 100% sure to be up are:

Garry's Mod: Onslaught Evolved 1.4v
Garry's Mod: Build Server
Garry's Mod: RP Server
Team Fortress 2: 24/7 2Fort

We're speculating on the idea of a Counter Strike: Source server, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. In the mean time, recruit more friends, and I'll premoting more people to admins when the time comes, and moderator candidate names will be released soon enough.

Team Fortress 2 Update: Failboat All Around.

Is it just me or is it every time I get into Team Fortress 2, the game crashes everytime I join a server?

I know it's not just me, I've heard reports all over about this pandemic of crashing TF2 users, especially in the Vista crowd. Although there are some pros to this new update. There is no more model folder, so the skin wallhackers can't wallhack anymore. Even though there are some pure servers, this update is especially good for 2Fort and PL map servers. Now, Demoman can't camp grate, sewers and spawn with 100% "Luck" accuracy. (Thank you Alaska Wolf for looking into the Vista crowd for me, along with your own computer.)

But all the same, with the amount of crashing players, it doesn't amount to so much good on the update. I've seen a slight decrease in complaints, and even if they tried to fix it, it didn't work much.

The main point of this announcement is that until further notice, there will be no Team Fortress 2 events untill this epidemic is straightened out, and the rest are mostly going to be Counter Strike: Source based and Garry's Mod.
