Welcome to the Melee Gaming Esports Union

We are an international group of organisers who arrange tournaments and oversee the competitive scene of melee ("slasher") games, such as Chivalry: Medieval Warfare.

Union Procedures:

1. The group operates using a voting procedure.
   
2. One member can call a vote, and the other members must all vote on the matter. You can vote for the motion, against the motion or abstain.
   
3. In the event of a tie the group should attempt to negotiate alternative action, or call a re-vote.
   
4. A member may start a vote to invite a member to the group. For the person in question to be accepted the majority must be greter than 75%.
   
5. A member may start a vote to kick a member from the group. For the person to be kicked the members (excluding the member in question) must unanimously vote in favour of the motion.
   
6. Members of the group are expected to be active not only on Chivalry, but online on steam regularly. A period of unexplained inactivity may result in expulsion from the group.
   
7. The group aims to decide matters regarding the Chivalry competitive community, more specifically, organising and arranging regular tournaments that meet the needs of the competitive scene.
   
8. Regular group meetings will be held, via teamspeak. Before the meeting the group will draw up an agenda.
   
9. Toxic, antisocial or provocative behaviour within the group will not be tolerated.
