ABOUT Cygnasty Mentees

Things you should try to have before messaging me (I'm just going to tell you to get them anyways):

1) Some footage of you (in Demo/STV format, preferrably) playing at the highest level you can manage! Whether it be a lobby, pug, scrim, or match, I'm really only interested in teaching Pyros interested in comp so no pub footage please.

2) Said footage, uploaded to a filesharing site like Dropbox or Mediafire! Gotta get those demos to me somehow.

3) Mumble, so that we can hop in BPM's Mumble and go over the footage together.

So this is kind of a really stupid question, buuuuuut...

I kinda already have a pyro teacher, 2, in fact, but does your team's medic teach at all?

Cause I kinda wanna learn a support class to assist with my gamesense.

Hello Cygnus, I'm a Pyro on a team that took 11th in UGC Iron last season, and my team is planning to go up to Steel for the upcoming season. I'd like to improve my game as much as possible, so I was hoping to get some mentoring. Here is a link to my team's Badwater match from the last season(my team is {#} The Hivemind)- {LINK REMOVED}
It's not the best demo because the other team was fairly uncoordinated and was using in-game voice chat rather than Mumble/Teamspeak/etc(and they get pretty annoying), but I feel it was a good match for me personally. Please get back to me when you have the time :)

Hey there Cygnus, so glad you've got a pyro mentoring page up and runnin', now I don't have to bother all my gold pyro friends ^^

I'm goin' off on holiday.. Well, today technically, but in aout a weeks time you'll have another student, with hopefully a few scrim demos available.

Hey Cygnus, we just played a mix together not 5 mins ago, I was the enemy pyro and you were solly. Im hoping you might consider mentoring me. Ive fufilled all of your constituents up there ^ including the optional one (my team loves spytime!). Heres a link to our match last monday.

I have some questions I want to ask you.

-How do you stop overextending and rush forward everytime you see a player.

-Do you have to be in the mindset of every class to be good in 1v1 situations
