Loose Deuce Fighter Squad

There are two basic types of air combat flying with a partner. The 'welded wing' and the 'loose deuce'.

The 'welded wing' is where an ace pilot has a lesser experienced pilot 'welded' or fixed to his wing at all times and acts as a defensive buffer when necessary.

The 'loose deuce' is where two ace pilots provide mutual support both offensively and defensively to create a force multiplier.

The Loose Deuce squadron was founded on a belief in team oriented combat, survival above glory, friendship and comaraderie above statlines. Within a few short years the fighter squad managed not only to create and establish itself as a premier fighter squad but also forged many friendships that continue to this day.

The Loose Deuce squadron has always been multi-national and diverse among it's pilot's preferences, skill sets and strengths and still is.
