October/November Time for a Lan Party

It’s been too long since we've had one, it’s time for a Lan Party.

Since not everyone is on the same social media webpages, i figured a Steam Group is the way to go, since we all have Steam.

Since Chadski has become a new home owner, he's volunteered his new house as a location. We have been assured that there are tables and chairs since we are old men and can no longer spend 48-72 hours hunched over a coffee table.

I know Dota is popular, and I’m sure it will be played, but please don't turn this into a Dota party, let’s get some Dino, zombie, cowboy, terrorist, space guy (wtf is UT anyway) killing action.

First order of business, i'd like to get a weekend locked down. People man need weekends off work, arrange travel for us outtatowners, arrangements made with wife's/girlfriends to get away for the weekend, and someone to monitor their offspring.

2015 Fall Lan

It’s been almost a year, that means time for our Annual Fall LAN part.

We’ve gone back to our roots; we have the Minto Party Room reserved again. So bring your cots and sleeping bags, say good bye to the wife’s, kids and pets, book time off work and make travel arrangements.

It’s time to LAN

Lan party update for everyone not part of the text message update: So Minto needed the party room for an event this weekend, and we lost it. But they are giving us an empty house to use, with tables.

So kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, playing space, etc, no need for a liquor licenses

The new LAN address is 1990 Beaconwood Dr, neat the party room and miles’ dads place.

We need internet, bring long Cat cables if you have theme, we’ll be leaching from a nearby house.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still addicted to Dota, but it's a LAN party ruiner... L4D, UT and CS for me. My attendance will be sporadic this weekend, but I'll be there all 3 days.
