ABOUT KOTICK

The greatest thing to ever hit the game industry

Robert A. Kotick (born 1963), also known as "The Devil", "Master of the Jewfro", and "The Cancer that is killing video games", is the CEO, president, and board member for Activision Blizzard, a video game developer and publisher, and was previously the CEO of Activision from February 1991 until the merge in July 2008.

Having never played a video game in his life (as he was too busy exploiting), Kotick has a great understanding of video gaming and its many subcultures. Kotick would like to bring the great methods and concepts that are already employed by CEOs of multi-billion dollar corporations to the video game industry.

He takes great pride in allowing close community involvement with all Activision Blizzard game franchises and their development. He has been known for his desire to keep game prices low, giving the consumer the most amount of game for their money.

The vision of Activision Blizzard under Robert Kotick is full creative freedom, allowing developers to create new games and universes for gamers to enjoy.

---

Seriously, if the gaming community doesn't become more vocal about what is being done by all these new business practices, gaming as we know it will cease to exist. I know i don't want to have to shell out 100+ dollars for a game that would have only cost me 50 dollars.

I also don't want to lose functionality that used to be standard. There is no excuse for what is being done; it is all about making money. Read some of the information on Activision Blizzard and the rediculous decisions that are being brought into the games we love. I will leave you with a quote from my friend Robert Kotick:

"And Tony, you know if it was left to me, I would raise the prices even further."

On starcraft cutscenes:
"If we were to take that hour, or hour and a half, and take it out of the game and we were to go to our audiences, who we have their credit card information a direct relationship, and say to them 'Would you like to have the StarCraft movie?'
