After 2 and a half months it's finally time to shutdown. I can no longer be arsed to keep trying to stop players from quiting everytime they get attacked.

Players either get bored of PVE style play and quit or they rage when their base gets raided and quit.

It was fun while it lasted
The server will stay up until around the 8th of April. That's when the bill needs to be paid again.

The so called ladders are just stairs and can't be moved once in place so they can't be used for sieges

The stone stairs can't be used because you need to stack them inorder to get over a wall which is already against the rules.

The platforms can be moved and could be used as a way of crossing moats and other terroformed defenses although you still wouldn't be able to use them to get onto the top of walls only to get to the base of a wall to place a bomb.

Due to the sometimes unstable nature of the game I thought I would make a list of guidelines to follow when crashes happen.

If you see someone crash near you please allow them to load back into the game before attacking or interacting with them. This includes giving them a little time after they have started to move to allow them to load the map.

If a crash happens during a large battle or siege. It would be a good idea for the leaders of both groups to contact each other over steam. They can then allow each other a few minutes of grace to load in before resuming the battle. If a siege is taking place it would be nice if the defenders can take up positions inside their walls and the attackers can form a group just outside the main gate or breach in a wall and then resume the siege.

These are just guidelines atm that players can choose to follow or not. Remember though what goes around comes around. Respect eachother on the battlefield.

I get a lot of complaints about spawn killing. I want to remind everyone that spawn killing is against the rules of the server. It can take players weeks of grinding to level their skills to 95+. It only takes a spawn killer 5 minutes to destory someones skill level which isn't acceptable at all.

I want every guild leader to very firmly remind their guild members that spawn killing will not be tolerated. If I find someone spawn killing I will penalise them and possibly their guild leader as well. So guild leaders make sure your guild knows the rules.

With that said if you find youself on the losing end of a battle and the enemy makes it into your home don't harrass or block them in anyway. The best thing to do is get on your knees and surrender. Another thing you should do is take a screenshot of your crafting and combat skills just before judgement hour starts. If you get spawned killed and lose alot of points I will give you your skills back and penalise whoever did the spawn killing.

I'll be visiting guilds during the day to make sure everyone gets this message.

If you're getting unusually high pings to the server download a vpn client and connect to the server using that.

I'm having to use one myself atm I've submitted a ticket to bluefang to see what the problem is.
