Add the server under bookmarks, and when you're in the channel set it as the default channel. Then put the channel password into the correct field, and you can auto join directly to our channel.

For any of you who may still read this board: Be on the lookout for messages from people on your friends list saying things like "check out my community page" and following with a sketchy looking link with steam powered in the name. If it looks like it isn't legit, it isn't. This particular link that i'm talking about opened up my default browser to what was made to look like the steam community front page if you have not logged in yet. If you "log in" it will send you to the REAL steam community front page... still not logged in.
The person who sent me that link has not answered my questions. They have not responded at all.

It was about time to change my password anyway.
