44-year-old Sokol groomed what he thought was a thirteen year old girl named Bailey online. He had some conversations with her, including talks of drawing up a “marriage contract“ in order for everything to be legal. On October 3rd, 2015, he drove for two and a half hours from his home in Boston to Fairfield, where he had planned to stay with the girl while her mother was away on business.
