Since some people can't play competative beta due to some reason, starting Tf2Center and practicing on it would be highly recommended, whether you have the pass or not, Tf2center will increase your knowledge on the Competative world and get you ready for the real thing, this also changes the fact that you only play with people that have experience (who have played the game longer than at least 900 Hrs) instead of the possiblity of playing against a person on the comp beta with small experience.

Please note that this is not required but highly recommended for better experience if you dont already have any.

First of all, all of you should add each other as friends (if you not already did it) and then you could maybe "chat a bit with each other to know something about the person you will play with or maybe play on tf2 center and go on mumbel where you can talk ;)
