As many of you know we've had some really rough patches with keeping iWC up and functioning, between minecraft updates and the new school year and college the server has had some serious down time. As of now the old server is defunct due to a non recoverable hard drive failure and really that's all we really know, so I've been working on getting something set up so we can keep the iWC name strong and the community together as much as we can. It had been a while since anyone did or said anything regarding the current status of the server and the future of it. I'm saying now that we will still be here for as long as we can and will not go anywhere as long as we have you.

SO with that being said I want to announce that we have a brand new server, this time it's paid hosting. (sincere thanks to Fozt for purchasing the server spot we wouldn't be able to have this without him)

At the moment we're running CraftBukkit 1.3.1-R2.0

Anyone running MC 1.3.1 or 1.3.2 can connect to the server and at the moment we are doing the server Survival, if you wish for peaceful mode just have an op switch you (that doesnt mean full on creative mode acess though just to clarify)

We have a few plugins already but we are open to any suggestions you might have to ones we should get.

Hey everyone.

I just thought i should let you all know that IWC is NOT dying, i'm still here and intend on keeping the server up. I know that for many of you the server hasn't been playable post MC 1.0's release, and i apologize for that. I have been really busy with finishing up school for the semester, a new job which i've been working 8 hour shifts 3-4 days a week, and of course, i'll admit, Skyrim. Most of my free time has been utilized by that amazing game, lol.

That being said, i want to let everyone know that i not only intend on keeping the server up, i also intend on revitalizing it with (yet another) fresh start. This means:

A fresh list of Plugins, but still using the main ones like Essentials & Worldguard/WorldEdit
A brand new map, which i pray will be the final map iwc will have to create.
A fresh new addition of players; once the server is settled, hopefully we can start advertising on sites for new players to join, and get rid of that annoying whitelist.
A revamped staff/admin system, bloody_senatu has given me instructions on setting up a FTP system which will allow Dig and possibly other high-ups (Veteran Ops) to have easier access to the server's files and configs

P.S. - if some of you are wondering why i havn't been on Xfire that much lately, it's because Skyrim for PC was infested with bugs, and unfortunatelly i was one of the 100,000 or so players who had the worst of the bugs (crash to desktop every 5 minutes, Xfire in-game or Steam in-game causes Skyrim to crash immediatly, etc) so yea i naturally turned Xfire off because of that. I'm now just waiting for this patch to be released, according to Bethesda it's supposed to be released in the next few days. Just thought i'd clear that up.
