To get a more historical war in the Pacific I think we should force the Treaty Of Washington that came after WW I.
It limited the combine tonnage of capital ships for the major nations.
USA had kept a number of BB while Jap could build CV without breaking the treaty.
In the game it would slow down the growth of US CV fleet.

The mod would require The Giant Awakes before Naval Effort (need to recheck name of focus). So US national focus will be forces over to other things until the WT treat level grows.

If I remember rightly the Pacific naval war was pretty even or even tilted towards Japan so not sure this is needed

What about playing a Mod where the Sahara is unpassable like in HOI3 ( e.g the No Mans Land Mod ). Would make it easier to defend Egypt for the UK . As a result there would be probably more fighting in the Med.

Yes,

I mentioned this at the very begining and another good group are using this, so I think we should use it. It will add some stability to N Africa and give UK some defensive options

Sounds good to me, I've got the mod downloaded but not used it yet will have a look at it

does anyone know how to make a mod? Added a rule that turkey is neutral. Would prefer that both USA and USSR guarentee them (one rule less, we have to be carefull not to make the ruleset longer)

in this game it is true as my strategy as USA was to focus on millitary factories. Open for your suggestion nord, but does this mod exist or can you make it?

I agree written rules should be few. In addition, I believe in a game that is as open as we can keep it within the historic form.
Most off all now I think we need to take away the security of a passive SU. Axis should not be able to forget about SU until 1941.

I have a mod now and I can add stuff.
If we decide what we want I can try to add it.
