Great video that covers a lot of scum activity on Steam, and it should get you up to speed if you never looked into it.
Steam has a large network of fake reviews, price manipulation, and bot farming for profit. These things don't just affect the bad games in the video, many good games on Steam also could be using that service.
Look out for games that instantly get a burst of positive reviews, it's a good idea to check a few to see if their review history lines up, that is how I usually find them.
I thought Arcane Assembly looked awesome, and it might be for those who don’t get overwhelmed within the first 5 minutes, but that isn’t me.
The one thing you can’t say, is that the title doesn’t tell you exactly what you’re in for!
Had the game eased you into the mechanics of building your spells, things might’ve gone differently, but I have a short fuse for certain things, and my rage meter went from 0-100 instantly. Me thinks you gotta go to college to even attempt playing this game.
“Hey egghead! Sing “Fair Harvard”
Fa-air Harvard, I *GULP*
“You sir, have the boorish manners of a Yalie!”
(hopefully someone will get that)
Strangely I use my own monthly list though, easier to keep track of games instead of the wishlist. Plus a few people here help around finding a few odd games that I miss.
