How do people pay with Steam wallet?
and why do they charge more when accepting it?

I always thought Steam wallet wasn't tradable and that by saying that they would accept/offer Steam wallet, people were meaning that they would buy a game from the store. But I don't believe there's something on the store that'll match the prices here

The seller lists an item on the market at a price higher than the item usually goes for.
The buyer then buys that item.

It costs more to cover the market fees (and sometimes the item cost, too.)

and returns the item after buying it ofc ;)
Or the Buyer gives the seller an item to list for the desired price.
Preferable items with vey few listings on the market so you can find it faster.

I'd like to add something; use and item/card from a developer you'd like to support as they get 10% of it!

what jur said, support the indies! valve gets 1/3 of the fee anyways.

I highly suggest dredmor  (love) its small on market, like 20 cents, and only like 7 pages on market, really easy to find compared to a lot of others.

Wise words at the end. The first time I did it was with a Steam Summer Trading card, lol. Took me 10 or 15 minutes to find it so I could buy it back. Learned my lesson there.
