GMod Parkour is nearly here!

You join the 'lobby' server which is a big city and you can basically free run around it as much as you like, it's fairly large and has many closed off buildings as well as a few you have limited access to the insides of, allowing people to meet up with friends and so on.

Rooftops are easily accessible via fire escapes and stairways in this city, it's basically a freerunners paradise.

There is a main building in the middle of the map, where players spawn, in here are a few places of interest.

When an event such as a race ends in another one of the servers, a message is delivered to all players in the lobby server, telling them that a Race is going to start in one minute time, and that any competitors wanting to join should go to the main building and go into a room to prepare to race (could turn into a race in itself as players rush to get to the preparation room).

Players wanting to take part in the race go to the main building but there is no obligation to race unless you want to, you can just freerun around the lobby all day with your friends if you want.

As an extension to the above, consider shops around the city where players can buy upgrades to their characters, for example trails, using money they get from winning races, dm's, melee dm's and so on.

Also maybe internet cafes could feature in the lobby city too, allowing users to browse the internet and chat with one another long distance (between cafes).

The city would be newbie-friendly, offering some training runs specially designed to tutor you in correct running, climbing and so on, without necessarily telling players that it is their to teach them.
